If you could only pick one lippie would you be on #teamsweet or #teamsassy? I recently partnered with Clarins to test out their Water Lip Stain and Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil. First off, let me say this was a fun lip challenge for me because I’ve been wanting to try these two products from Clarins. And, I’m a bit of a beauty junkie especially when it comes to lippies.
I went back-n-forth between the two lip products. At first I tried all 8 shades of the Lip Comfort Oil and love all of them. So sweet, soft, lush on my lips. These are replacing my favorite lip balm. I also love they are infused with 100% pure plant oils.
Then I took to the Water Lip Stains and tried all 4 colors. I also mixed a few colors to build a different shade. The trick to this stain is to not have so much on the brush. You want to start off with a thin amount and apply thin layers. If you apply too much with one swipe, it can run a tad. Just a tip since I’ve been using them.
If you are super affectionate and love kissing, this Water Lip Stain is the best! It doesn’t wear off and doesn’t transfer onto the lips you’re kissing.
Okay so here’s how I discovered that I can’t play for one team. After I applied the Rose Water Lip Stain for my “sassy” lip, I applied the Candy Lip Comfort Oil on top and fell in love with the combo. So, I suppose I’m playing for both teams, LOL. That makes me team “swassy” ??
