The Best $18 Fragrances

To say I have a slight addiction to perfume is an understatement. My sense of smell sways toward luxe and pricey fragrances.

This is why I’m ALWAYS, literally, ALWAYS hunting for new perfumes that smell luxe, last all day and are affordable.

Overly powerful and heavy scents I stray away from. I end up sneezing or getting a headache and that’s no fun. Picking a perfume is a process. It has to check many boxes.

To my sniffing amazement, I found perfume heaven whilst shopping in an Urban Outfitters recently. Their collection Gourmand Eau De Parfum Fragrance with 11, yes ELEVEN different scents for $18 was a major find.

I spritzed every single one, let it dry down and made my decision on which scents suit my body chemistry the best. I narrowed it down to 5 fragrances I love. Five perfumes at $18 totals $90 which is the cost of one bottle from a well known brand.

By no means am I putting down more expensive fragrances, again, I have a few in my collection. See posts HERE, HERE and HERE.

Fragrances are like an accessory. I rotate scents per seasons and for day and night. There are a few I consider signature scents that I’ll where anytime, any day of the year.

Here are my five picks of UO Gourmand Eau De Parfum but also check out their other scents in this collection.

La Vie Positano

Notes of: pink sea salt, sugar cane, cyclamen

My Favorite out of the five perfumes. The note combinations make this a perfect signature scent to wear year round. I love how timeless and luxe it smells. The scent transports me around the world satisfying my wanderlust.

Le Beach

Notes of: coconut water, ylang-ylang, jasmine, vanilla

As the name states, a great Summer scent perfect for all day wearing.

Bellini Frais

Notes of: mandarin, fresh linen accord, sparkling prosecco

This one is crisp and airy, great for Spring/Summer days.

Miel Bébé

Notes of: juicy mandarin, honey blossom, sandalwood, praline

This scent is a great addition to your signature scent collection, perfect year round.

Whiskey Noir

Notes of: black coconut, crisp amber, vanilla whiskey

Teetering on the muskier side, this scent is balanced enough to not overpower. I’ll be wearing this fragrance during Fall/Winter and for date nights. It’s like wearing a cozy cashmere sweater.
