DAY 28: Shop My Closet Classic Gucci Girl

Mood: Energized

Weather: Another sunny warm SoCal day

Outfit Purpose: Weekend Exploring

Style Savvy: White jeans are a wardrobe staple for every woman and man too! A great fitting pair of white jeans will last year after year. Stick with a classic cut and you won’t go wrong. I literally bought these Hudson straight leg jeans 7 years ago. Keep your white jeans in good condition and they’ll last a long time. I wanted to go all out with some Gucci pieces I have archived in my closet. In keeping with classic Gucci green and their logo, I paired my wrap around top with some monogrammed sandals and patent leather handbag (all Gucci). To give my outfit a bit of flair, I opted for this cowhide belt from Mango, wide cuff bangle and oval drop black and gold vintage style earrings.

Personal Style: Classic Gucci Girl

What’s Going On With Me: Things are happening or maybe I’m now noticing them since I’ve come out of my induced suspension of consciousness per the shock of my husband not wanting to be married anymore. Recently, I’ve received some amazing projects because of my blog and this challenge. I can’t wait to share what I’m doing, so stay tuned. I’m grateful to be recognized for my creativity and that people and brands trust I’ll do a great job for them. I truly believe if you keep driving yourself towards your dream, you’ll eventually get there.

Today my mom took me to this hiking trail that we haven’t hiked yet. She’s hiked it before but we haven’t gone together. It surrounds a huge lake and is so peaceful. It was breathtaking. Literally. As in “help me, I need CPR” taking of the breath. I’m exaggerating a bit but I was a huffin and a puffin. Talk about steep right as you start, we didn’t even get a warm up. It was invigorating to burn up some energy and tone my muscles. I even kicked it up a notch by doing a little run up and down as I got closer to the top of the hill. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get a different kind of workout if plans go accordingly (wink).

Thoughts: Let yourself become the person you always aspired to be. I view this as if you were planting a garden. You have to first clear out all the old dirt and weeds (old thinking, negativity), then plant your seeds and fertilize (healthy eating) and hydrate accordingly (drink water). Making sure to get enough sunlight (vitamin D) and giving the garden some TLC (being kind and loving to yourself) while being patient (good things come in time). Eventually you start to see a few stems appear, then leaves, then flowers, fruits or vegetables. After time has passed, the garden (that’s you) has fully blossomed.
