Outfit Purpose: Charity Luncheon in Beverly Hills

I’ve worn this SINGLE dress about 3-4 times during this year-long challenge and the way I make it fresh is changing up my accessories (jewelry, belt, shoes), makeup and hairstyle. Typically women don’t like to wear the same dress more than once especially if being photographed to death. Or if you think the dress makes such a statement that everyone will remember you in it. If you were walking the red carpet and a celebrity…yes those rules apply. But even a fashion icon, Anna Wintour editor of Vogue, has been photographed wearing one of her fave dresses several times within a course of two weeks. So, if you love it wear it again!

What’s Going On: I was literally in this dress/outfit from 9am to about 4pm today. I styled myself up this morning and off I drove from San Diego to Beverly Hills for an installation charity luncheon that I’m now a full fledged board member of. Philanthropy always invigorates me, especially when it’s a collaborative group of amazing women who give their time selflessly. I feel privileged to be a part of The Mannequins who help support the Assistance League of LA.
