Indigenously Westside

It’s a mere 68 degrees along the West coast so I’m breaking out my sweaters and light jackets. Don’t be a hater (if you don’t live here). I love all the cozy knit wear featured this fall/winter season especially this poncho by Indigenous Fair Trade fashion that’s made of super soft organic cotton. Sometimes cashmere, even the finest cashmere, can still give me the itchy scratchies (I have sensitive skin) so it’s refreshing to wear organic clothing (like this poncho) that’s also made with low impact dyes. I styled this look keeping in mind what’s on trend right now like the color bordeaux, waxed jeans and ankle strap “vamp” heels. Just an FYI…I got these jeans a year ago when it wasn’t on trend and now they’re everywhere. Savvy Style Tip: use a belt to cinch at your waistline but leaving the back of the poncho out (not belted) to create more of a figure from the front and sides.
