Fall is upon us and this sweater makes me sing that little diddy because it’s by a brand I recently discovered, LOLLY Clothing made in L.A. My personal style always has a level of bohemian sensibility, whether mixed with street, classics or trends. Although we are currently experiencing a high voltage heat wave on the West Coast, I couldn’t resist slipping on this lightweight ultra soft LOLLY sweater (silk back panel and partial silk sleeves) with my suede Sole Society (similar here) boots and Louis Vuitton crossbody bag. Accessories are a girl’s best friend, so play around with mixing metals like I did below. Have fun and don’t worry about being matchy matchy.
One of the biggest Fall trends is having “no” trend. Yes, you read that right. This Fall feel free to be as eclectic with your “outfit of the day” as you wish. Just be sure that your clothes fit your body shape properly. The proper fit is truly key to making an outfit look more expensive than it really is. For instance, when I wear something I bought for $20 that fits properly and paired with stylish accessories, everyone thinks that $20 item cost more than I bought if for. I’ll get compliments all day long on that $20 piece.
Circling back to trends, of course there ARE some Fall trends you can find outfit inspiration for your own wardrobe. I’ll be posting these trends one at a time throughout the following month.
