Finally the weather is chilly enough on the West coast to wear fall fashion! This outfit of the day (ootd) has a mix of emerald and garnet jewel tones with a splash of gold jewelry. I love playing with pattern and fabric mixes – here I take a tweed gray blazer with an amazing lining and pair it with my paisley patterned jeans. Savvy Style tip: as long as you keep within the same color palette, you can mix different patterns together. Skinny Jean Style tip: jeans sometimes come a little long and typically need hemming. I like to reserve the hemming because depending on what shoe I wear, I want the option to adjust the length. What I do is simply fold under the amount I want and voila! Because it’s a “skinny” jean the bottom won’t fall out, it will stay and nobody will notice.
