H&M Floral Blouse, Lucky Magazine Pick
I recently had to make a trip down to San Diego on not-so-good terms. My stepdad had to go into emergency surgery for a brain tumor and come to find out he has stage 4 brain cancer. While my mom and I were at Scripps Green Hospital over the course of 5 days, I managed to coax her out of the hospital everyday to get some fresh air and eat somewhere besides the hospital cafeteria. A few of the days I drove us to La Jolla Cove since it was close to the hospital. Beautiful, walkable and good dining choices. It was nice to get our minds off of what was happening by taking a stroll through some boutiques and galleries. Linda from Jewels by the Sea and Maxwell from Martin Lawrence Galleries were a pleasure to meet. I figured, why not have my mom take some snaps of my outfit one day for my blog to keep her occupied. My eyes are a bit puffy, oh well.
