Whenever I get a chance to incorporate travel with a style series, it’s a treat. Not just for myself but for you too. I love bringing you along with me so you get inspired to try a new place to visit and also try new outfit style ideas.
I’ve been dying to experience La Serena Villas located in Palm Springs, CA before it gets too hot. To keep cool, there’s a gorgeous pool and A/C in each villa. There’s also refreshing drinks at their restaurant Azucar or Sugar High rooftop lounge.
While planning my outfits, I always pick a trend, theme or piece to feature 5 Ways. I researched La Serena Villas before deciding on a style trend, making sure my outfits compliment their fabulous design/decor aesthetic.
For this boho chic oasis, I went with Orange and Coral Crush. These are two color trends you’ll definitely want to wear for summer and guess what? It looks good on all skin tones.
Speaking of style, La Serena Villas was originally built in 1933, and in 2016 was redeveloped to a 5-star boutique hotel. They didn’t miss one detail with their design and decor. Everything is meticulous from the fabrics, colors, furniture, fixtures, art and so on.
There are 18 villas complete with a private patio, claw foot tub, fire pit and outside seating. It’s private and quiet. The staff is amazing. This is definitely a place to decompress from reality.
These five outfits I’m wearing are lightweight and easy to mix and match giving you many options for a weekend or week long getaway. I decided to rent a few pieces from Rent The Runway and mix in my own wardrobe.
